Magical Items Encountered by the Party

 

Item Properties
Dawnbringer Sentient +1 mace that deals additional radiant damage. The party found the mace in the Temple of Brysis Khaen. Wielded by Linwe. The mace is thought lost in the Oni's cave, destroyed by a Sphere of Annihilation.
Rod of the Pact Keeper +2 Magical Rod wielded by Gwyn. The party found the Rod in the Temple of the Faceless God. Rarely teleports him to another place, and curses him with tentacles for arms and for a beard. Gwyn wields this.
Stonefists Gloves of moving stone wielded by Alaer. The party found the gloves on Hagg Stonefist in the Brawler's Guild in Gracklstugh, after defeating the Stonefists in mortal combat. The fists can deal vicious blows to opponents, sometimes leaving them stunned.
Cloak of Elvenkind Cloaks worn by the party that give advantage to stealth checks against visible detection. The party found the cloaks among the items given to them by King Hekaton.
Instrument of the Bard: Mac-Fuirmidh Citturn Once per day, the wielder can cast the following spells: Barkskin, cure wounds, fog cloud. The instrument is currently equipped by Faelor (Brad). The party found the instrument among the items given to them by King Hekaton. 
Boots of Elvenkind Boots worn by the party which give advantage to stealth checks against audible detection. Brad found the boots among items given to the party by King Hekaton.
Necklace of Fireballs A necklace with seven orange beads hanging from a golden chain. The party found the necklace in the Temple of Brysis Khaen. The beads can be torn off and used as a fireball spell. The entire necklace was thrown at Mistress Ilvara by Brad, annihilating her and her nearby companions.
Ring of Shooting Stars A ring that shoots balls of magical energy, or conjures magical spheres which can annihilate opponents with arcane energy. The party found the ring in the desk of Elliandreth, after killing him when he turned into a Bodak. Alaer is currently in possession of the ring.
+1 Glaive +1 magical glaive wielded by Faelookon. Faelookon found the weapon among the items given to the party by King Hekaton. The glaive is emblazoned with elvish text, describing the name of it's previous wielder ("Lolithrien") and his date of death and how he died (He was crushed by Fire Giants). Other sylvan runes line the weapon.
Amulet of Nondetection Amulet that protects against scrying and other magical forms of detection. Faelookon wrapped this necklace around his family greataxe, which he then put in the bag of holding. The bag was taken by Tsernoth at Citadel Felbarr. The party found the necklace among the items given to them by King Hekaton.
The Stonespeaker Crystal A crystal that contains powerful divination magic, and the cypher to Gravenhollow library. Supposedly, it is supposed to be used to activate the library codex and access the information or power within. The party obtained the crystal from Kula in Gracklstugh, a reward for killing Captain Blackskull.

The crystal can be used to cast Scrying, Detect Thoughts and Detect Magic 3 times / day.
Map to Gravenhollow A map directing the user to the Underdark library Gravenhollow. The party found the map among the items given to them by King Hekaton at his fortress, and it is currently in the possession of Brad.
Artifacts of Garyx Very powerful magical artifacts which provide incredible feats of offensive strength or utility, at a cost. Most of the artifacts are cursed, either at a severe detriment to the wielder or allowing Garyx, an ancient Red Dracofiend (Dragon born in the Abyss) to control the wielder. One artifact, the Orb of Garyx, can allow Garyx to return to the Prime Material Plane, if placed at his altar in the Temple of Garyx, where he was buried. A compass was also among the items, which when used by a Dragonborn, can lead them to the Tomb (but blinds them). The artifacts were in the Bag of Holding when it was taken by Tsernoth, and are now thought to be in his possession.
+1 Magical Weapons The party found ~2000 +1 magical weapons of Elven make among the items given to them by King Hekaton at his fortress. The weapons are all inscribed with an Elven name, date and description of death. Other sylvan runes cover the weapons. The weapons were in the Bag of Holding when it was taken by Tsernoth, and are now thought to be in his possession.
Malcanthet's Desire +3 whip that is cursed, demanding that the wielder undertake a unique interpersonal sexual act every day or take one point of exhaustion. The whip can only be unequipped by a succubus. The party found the whip among the items given to them by King Hekaton at his fortress. The whip was among the items in the Bag of Holding when it was taken by Tsernoth, and is now thought to be in his possession.
Flurry of Blows +3 Blowgun. The party found the blowgun among the items given to them by King Hekaton at his fortress. The blowgun was among the items in the Bag of Holding when it was taken by Tsernoth, and is now thought to be in his possession.
Talindra's Mercy +3 Glaive that can only be used to wound, but not kill a creature. If the creature dies and the wound inflicted by this weapon contributed to it's death (i.e. was not healed before its death), the weapon is destroyed. The weapon is covered in sylvan runes. The party found the glaive among the items given to them by King Hekaton at his fortress. The glaive was among the items in the Bag of Holding when it was taken by Tsernoth, and is now thought to be in his possession.
Sylvan Messenger +2 Longbow that can only shoot elven-made arrows. The weapon is covered in Sylvan runes. The party found the bow among the items given to them by King Hekaton at his fortress. The bow was among the items in the Bag of Holding when it was taken by Tsernoth, and is now thought to be in his possession.
Demron's Legacy, the Seventh Baneblade A +3 Longsword that does additional arcane damage and that can only be wielded by an Elven descendant of Demron, a human who forged the original six Baneblades. The party found the sword among the items given to them by King Hekaton at his fortress. The sword was among the items in the Bag of Holding when it was taken by Tsernoth, and is now thought to be in his possession.
Adamantine and Mithral Armors The Adamantine and Mithral armors provide protection against critical hits, and impose no disadvantage to stealth, respectively. The armors are covered in Sylvan runes. The party found ~600 of these armors among the items given to them by King Hekaton at his fortress. They were in the Bag of Holding taken by Tsernoth and are now thought to be in his possession.
A platinum scroll written on in an ancient language. A scroll written in an ancient elvish text, written on a single piece of platinum parchment. The front of the scroll is written "Fifty-One" in Draconic. The text written says "Ars Factum", and contains some kind of a cypher or codex. The party found the scroll among the items given to them by King Hekaton at his fortress. The scroll was among the items in the Bag of Holding when it was taken by Tsernoth, and is now thought to be in his possession.
Thin stone tablet with a peculiar symbol

A thin stone tablet with a peculiar symbol or rune. Written underneath it in many different scripts is "I enter the circle. I was reader, but am now author – Karsus". The party found the tablet among the items given to them by King Hekaton at his fortress. It was among the items in the Bag of Holding when it was taken by Tsernoth, and is now thought to be in his possession.

A journal Written by a bard – Memnor Six-strings – detailing the tales of his adventuring party in searching for "The Sleeper". The entries are dated of the year 3520 N.Y. The entries suddenly stop when detailing a perilous cross over an "infinite desert". The party found the journal among the items given to them by King Hekaton at his fortress. It was among the items in the Bag of Holding when it was taken by Tsernoth, and is now thought to be in his possession.
Lantern of Revealing Bright light 30' dim light 30' – reveals invisible creatures. The party found the lantern among the items given to them by King Hekaton at his fortress. It was among the items in the Bag of Holding when it was taken by Tsernoth, and is now thought to be in his possession.
Elemental Gem (Primordial) Each gem can be used to summon an elemental. The elementals are from a time early in the history of Faerun, where magics controlling the elements were poorly refined; thus, the summoned elemental has a 50% chance of being hostile to you. The party found the gems among the items given to them by King Hekaton at his fortress. They were among the items in the Bag of Holding when it was taken by Tsernoth, and are now thought to be in his possession.
Various Potions (Ancient) ~300 potions found by the party among the items given to them by King Hekaton. The potions either provided tremendous giant strength or healed a significant amount. They had a substantial chance of failure, however. They were among the items in the Bag of Holding when it was taken by Tsernoth, and are now thought to be in his possession.
Wand of Lightning Bolts The party took this from the Oni cave.
Headband of Intellect (21)

While worn, the headband raises the wearer's intellect to 21. If unattuned, the wearer's thoughts, location, actions and presence is known to the maker of the headband, an Ulitharid. If attuned, the wearer can speak telepathy to anything within 60', and can make a mental attack against a target once per day (DC = INT + Proficiency, 2d12 damage) and has resistence to psychic damage. However, the user cannot benefit from other magic items, including potions and elixirs. The party took this from the Oni cave.

Chardalyn Stones Stones of an ancient empire. The stones can store a single spell. The gems can, too, but if the color of a spell is matched to the color of the stone (i.e. Cone of Cold = Blue), the spell level is increased by 1. The spell is discharged from the stone when it collides with another physical object (i.e. thrown or dropped). The party found these among the items in the Shadowier.
Bracers of the Quickblade The bracers can be used to mentally call forth +1 magical daggers into the hands of the wielder. The daggers disappear once they have struck an object or creature. Infinite daggers can be called forth, mentally. The bracers are currently worn by Adran.
Robe of the Roc As an action, the wearer can use the feather on the robe to summon a Roc, a garguantuan bird creature. The DM has the statistics of the animal. It remains summoned for 8 hours. It can only be summoned once per tenday. The robe is worn by Adran.
Orb of Control – Airship (Shadowier) The party found these among the items in the Shadowier.
Wand of Polymorph The wand has 6 charges and regains 1d6 charges at dawn. It can be used to cast the spell Polymorph. Charisma is your spellcasting modifier for this spell (save DC = 10 + CHA; more if proficient with CHA saving throws).
Manual of Bodily Health Spend 1 Long Rest reading the manual and your CON goes up by 2. (Unidentified – this is player knowledge)
